What to Wear With a White Sheath Dress
I ordered this textured knit sheath dress last week and I love how it's the perfect blank canvas. Ann Taylor had featured it on their Instagram stories and I am so glad that it doesn't disappoint. The dress looks chic worn alone, but you can add a scarf for a pop of print/color and it's an instant work outfit when paired with tailored blazer.

I really love the dress with this linen moto jacket which I styled in a few other ways here. Note that the hips fit more snug so if you're curvy then you will need to size up.

WEAR TO WORK SUMMER OUTFITS
This dress may be my first wrap dress! I usually shy away from wrap style dresses because I worry that the wrap portion will not stay in place or provide the right coverage. Even my husband complimented me when I wore this dress on our commute in to work together.

I found so many adorable straw bags late this summer and it's difficult to justify keeping this bag knowing that I may not get to carry it much until next summer. If it wasn't sold out (it does pop back in stock) I would have waited for it to go on sale in order to snag it. The removable strap on this box bag is shorter (the 35″ length is a 17.5″ drop) so I can only use the strap as a shoulder bag. It's well made and I love the vintage, minimalist vibe with the decorative bamboo handles. It fits my small wristlet, iPhone 8+, keys and a small pack of tissues.

This white dress is another recent sale purchase and I took my usual size 0P. I love the pockets and the overall style and the floral lace and lattice detail is very unique.

I wore this neutral outfit to work today. I was very happy how these neutral pumps compliment the simple sheath dress.

Click here and here to view a close up of the pumps. I love the sleek look of these pumps and the leather is very soft so they were immediately comfortable with no break in period. I've been wearing them around the house to see how long I can wear them until my feet start feel tired. I got them for a steal this past weekend (close to $40 after combined discounts) so I even ordered a backup pair. I'm not sure why I held off on trying the Mila style pumps for so long.

I really liked the leather version of these Mila pumps so I also ordered the leopard print version when it was $50 off shoes plus an extra $50 off $100+ this past weekend with the code THANKS10.
I was eyeing these d'Orsay flats from J.Crew Factory but I forgot to order them to try since I never wear my heels out since the tips would easily get eaten by the cracks in the pavement. I also noticed that the new version o my favorite Francesca driving flats are back this season. I love the simple buckle detail and the deep olive color.
Meanwhile I am trying to cull the many shoes I've held onto over the years but haven't reached for as much. I even found old receipts for a few pairs that were in storage from 2010/2011. Please check out what is currently available on my Poshmark closet. I usually wear size 7 but I have a few pairs in size 6.5 and I also listed one pair of size 7.5 black booties.

This seersucker blazer is perfect over this little black dress for more coverage during working hours. I love the minimalist bow details on the straps of the dress.

I am always on the lookout for lemon prints and I ordered this skirt to try since it seemed to have a lot of positive reviews. Size S measures: 24″ waist unstretched (size S may fit up to 27″ waist) and 22.5″ total length. I found that the pleats are too puffy and adds bulk at the waistline so I returned it. The skirt has pockets and it's unlined but not see through. The skirt also has two buttons allowing you to tighten the skirt further.
Ainifeel Women's Genuine Leather Small Crossbody Bag in black
I love and carry the Ainifeel Women's Genuine Leather Hobo Shoulder Bag so I was curious about this inspired Celine Nano Luggage crossbody from the same brand. This bag is $105 instead of $2700 for the real deal. The measurements are: 8″ x 8″ x 3.5″. This version is missing the Celine logo with the gold lettering, the lining is not suede, unlike the real version the crossbody strap is adjustable and the hardware is gold tone instead of gunmetal silver. If the little details bother then you may notice the white glue residue on the edges (as seen here). I found that you can easily rub off the glue with your fingernails. Do not to over peel the glue residue or you may end up peeling the varnish along the edges. It's very minor however once I noticed it I couldn't stop seeing it so I went ahead and removed all the glue residue I spotted. Click here, here and here to see different ways to carry the bag.
The bag is currently only available in red but the brand does restock the bag in various colors. It's also available in medium size here and a larger size here.
Update 8/17: I also just ordered these designer inspired options to try out of curiosity since it's free shipping and free returns with Amazon Prime. I recently created a 'Misses' list on my Amazon shop page and I'll include comments (look for the little comment bubble icon) of why the items on that list did not work out for me.
Update 8/20: I received the designer inspired wallet and the tote bag in the mail yesterday and if you follow me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app or checked my Insta Shop then you may have seen my review here. The designer inspired tote was under $53 and free shipping and free returns with Amazon Prime when I ordered it a few days. The bag has a slight new smell to it that should go away once you let it air out. The little pouch that is attached to the bag is poorly made but the tote back is a decent quality for the price. I would probably remove the little pouch but the tote itself isn't bad. Any markings I found on the bag were easily wiped away with Mr. Clean magic eraser. The tote bag is too flimsy on it's own and requires a base shaper so I decided to return it.
The wallet has no designer logo but it has the Daisy Rose logo is stamped inside. It's under $15 and free shipping and free returns with Amazon Prime. The zipper is smooth and the stitching even. The inside compartment is well made but it doesn't look anything like how a the real designer wallet looks like. It was also brought to my attention that counterfeit goods (the ones that strive to be exact designer copies) are being used to fund those with nefarious intentions (refer to this article). While the bargain prices are very tempting it didn't sit well with me that we never stop to think about the real cost of finding a good deal. Having saved for designer goods in the past it is a different feeling of appreciation and accomplishment when you buy something nice that you've saved up for.
Lucky Brand Yabba Wedge Bootie in sesame suede
These booties run true to size and they are very comfortable off the bat. I ordered them during the #nsale when the color I wanted and my size popped back online. I am used to wearing my Vince Camuto Franell booties with an almond toe so I'm torn if I should keep this pair and give them a chance. I can't decide if this pair would give my favorite booties a run for the money. If you followed my #nsale reviews then you'll notice that not a whole lot had worked out for me.

I am partial to this round straw bag (review here) and I love these swingy large pom poms from this LOFT straw pom pom tote. I've been curious about the LOFT bag since earlier in the season but it sold out very quickly. Last week one bag randomly popped back online in the early morning so I ordered it to try for about $37 on sale. The LOFT bag is a larger size measuring 14″ W x 4.5″ D x 10″ H. I listed the bag without the pom poms on my Poshmark closet here. I am torn between keeping it, trying to sell it to justify keeping just the pom poms for decorative use or returning the bag altogether. I'm leaning towards the latter since it's too late in the season to add another straw bag to my purse collection. My purse collection is another list of things I need to work on decluttering.
